The area coverage you can capture with your drone depends on the resolution of the camera on the drone, how wide the lens is and also how high you’re flying.
The legal flight height of a drone in Australia is 120m, or 400ft.
In the photo below taken on a DJI Phantom 4 Pro, which has a 20 megapixel camera, the drone is hovering at 120m (400ft) with the camera pointed straight down.
This gives an area coverage of approximately 110m x 190m for a birds eye view.
